UkisAI is a Europe-based applied AI lab, founded in 2023. We develop public-facing AI products, run applied research, and work closely with companies to design, prototype, and deploy AI solutions.

We're a small, established engineering team with products that are already stable and running in production. We're hiring an engineer to help us build on what's there, working on real products that real people use.

About the role

We are looking for an AI Engineer to build and improve our own products, like FONGPT and TrueStay, working right next to the founders and experienced engineers.

You will build features, fix bugs, and ship improvements that actual users see, and help shape how our products are put together, from the model to the interface.

In this role, you will

• Build and ship features on our own products, like FONGPT and TrueStay
• Fix bugs and improve existing features so they work better for real users
• Work across a modern AI product, from the model to the interface
• Review code and work closely with the founders and the rest of the engineering team
• Help improve the tools, habits, and workflow the team uses to ship

You may be a good fit if you have

• Solid programming experience (Python is a plus)
• Experience building and shipping software that real people use
• Genuine curiosity about how AI works and how it gets built
• Comfort taking feedback, iterating, and following through on what you start

Nice to have, but not required

• Experience building with LLMs or other AI models
• Projects, repositories, or demos you can show us
• Familiarity with AI tools like Codex, Cursor and Claude Code, and curiosity about what happens under the hood
